Short version: Everything you enter stays on your device. ReAnchor does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers.
ReAnchor does not collect any personal information. The app does not require an account, email address, or any identifying information to function.
All decisions, notes, and settings you create are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and iOS Keychain (for premium status). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.
ReAnchor uses the following third-party services:
On the ReAnchor self-test web page, we generate a random identifier in your browser the first time you visit. It's stored locally on your device (in localStorage), doesn't include any personal information, and is never linked to your email unless you choose to join the waitlist. When you share a result, the link includes this identifier so we can measure how often a shared result leads to a new test. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's storage for this site.
If you grant notification permission, ReAnchor schedules local reminders on your device. These notifications are processed entirely on-device and are not sent to any server.
ReAnchor is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
